Trump Vows to “Hit Iran VERY HARD” Today – Dismisses Tehran’s Apology to Neighbors as Sign of Surrender in Escalating War!

As the U.S.-Israeli war against Iran enters its second brutal week on March 7, 2026, U.S. President Donald Trump has ramped up the rhetoric, promising intensified strikes and warning that new targets in Iran face “complete destruction and certain death.” In a fiery Truth Social post early Saturday, Trump declared: “Today Iran will be hit very hard! Under serious consideration for complete destruction and certain death, because of Iran’s bad behavior, are areas and groups of people that were not considered for targeting up until this moment in time.”

Trump dismissed Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian’s public apology to Gulf neighbors—hit by Iranian missiles and drones targeting U.S. bases—as evidence of weakness, even claiming it showed Tehran had effectively “surrendered.” The U.S. president has repeatedly demanded Iran’s “unconditional surrender,” a call Pezeshkian mocked as “a dream they should take to their grave.”

The apology came in a televised address where Pezeshkian said: “I personally apologize to neighboring countries that were affected by Iran’s actions.” He attributed the strikes to chaos following the death of Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, explaining that armed forces operated in a “fire at will” mode without clear command. Pezeshkian pledged no further attacks on neighbors unless launches against Iran originate from their soil, framing it as a bid for diplomacy and de-escalation with Gulf states like Saudi Arabia, UAE, Qatar, and Bahrain.

But the olive branch sparked immediate fury at home, with hardliners branding it humiliating. Pezeshkian’s office later walked it back, insisting Iran hadn’t targeted “friendly” neighbors in this conflict. Despite the pledge, fresh explosions rocked Gulf areas, including Dubai’s Marina district, Bahrain, and Qatar, suggesting the military may not fully heed the political leadership.

Iran’s missile arsenal remains a key flashpoint in the conflict.

Trump’s threats come amid ongoing Israeli strikes on Tehran and Beirut, rising civilian casualties (over 1,200 reported in Iran alone), disrupted oil shipping through the Strait of Hormuz, and U.S. troop losses. With divisions widening in Iran’s interim leadership council and Trump signaling expanded targets—including possibly new “groups and people”—the multi-front war shows no signs of cooling. Analysts warn this could spiral further, with economic fallout from soaring energy prices hitting global markets hard.

As explosions light up the night in Tehran and Gulf sirens blare, Trump’s vow to “hit very hard” today underscores a no-compromise stance—while Tehran’s mixed signals highlight internal fractures that may only prolong the chaos. The world watches anxiously: Will diplomacy prevail, or will escalation dominate?
